PIPE FREEZE PROTECTION
Industrial and Commercial piping systems need Heat Tracing to stop vital pipes from freezing. Typical plans require a Maintain Temperature between 40° F and 45°F and controls that utilize an ambient-sensing t-stat, thermistor or RTD to monitor air temperature. This guarantees the Heat Trace System can energize whenever the outside temperature hits 45°F.
Control options range from simple dedicated ambient t-stats to micro-processor- based controllers depending on the level of control/monitoring required by the application. Self-regulating heating cables vary their power output, can be crossed over themselves without the danger of burning out, and can be cut to length in the field. ThermatraceUSA can size the acceptable heater for your application depending on your specifications. We'll produce a complete design that will meet or exceed your specified design and develop an accurate Bill of Materials including; Cables, Installation Accessories, and Controls. Our heat trace systems can be used in steam cleanable applications as well as hazardous locations.

GREASE WASTE HEAT TRACE PRODUCTS
Grease Waste Heat Trace Systems prevent the build-up of grease in pipes by maintaining the necessary temperature to keep the grease in a liquid state. Typical designs call for a Maintain Temperature between 110F and 120 deg F. Typical control methods will utilize a pipe -sensing t-stat, thermistor or RTD to monitor the pipe wall temperature, thus ensuring waste will continue to flow. Self-regulating heating cables vary their power output, can be crossed over themselves without the risk of burning out and can be cut to length in the field. We can size the appropriate heater for your application depending on your specific criteria. We will create a complete design that will meet or exceed the design criteria and develop an accurate Bill of Materials including; Cables, Installation Accessories, and Controls.

ROOF AND GUTTER DEICING PRODUCT
Roof & Gutters require Heat Tracing to prevent damaging ice build-up. Ice dams form when water freezes at an overhang or gutter. This ice dam may grow large enough that water will back up under the shingle or roof seam and drip into the building space causing major water damage. Roof & Gutter Deicing cables are also effective in preventing large, damaging icicles from forming along a roof edge.
Roof & Gutter Deicing cables are designed to provide a drain path for water to exit a roof structure. They are not designed to completely melt snow and ice on a roof or building surface. Most designs call for cable(s) to be installed in gutters, downspouts and along roof edges to prevent ice dams. Control options range from simple, dedicated gutter-mounted controls to micro-processor-based controllers with BMS interface capabilities depending on the level of control/monitoring required by the application. Self-regulating heating cables vary their power output, can be crossed over themselves without the risk of burning out and can be cut to length in the field. ThermatraceUSA can size the appropriate heater for your application depending on your specific criteria. We will create a complete design and BOM, and develop an accurate Bill of Materials including; Cables, Installation Accessories, and Controls.

HOT WATER MAINTENANCE HEAT TRACE PRODUCTS
Heat Trace cables can be used to maintain hot water in piping without the use of re-circulation systems. The self-regulating technology eliminates the need for expensive return piping, valves, pumps, and maintenance associated with re-circulation systems. The heat trace cable produces heat to maintain the desired temperature in the pipe when there is no demand for hot water. No thermostat is required. The pipe heat trace cable will adjust its heat output to minimize electrical consumption costs. For convenience to the installer, the cable is offered in 120, 208 and 240-volt versions.

MULLION HEATERS
The application of mullion heaters to prevent condensation on window panes and frames has grown significantly in the past few years. Protecting valuable property in libraries, museums, art galleries and commercial buildings from dripping condensation has led to an increased demand for our proprietary mullion heating systems. We have successfully designed and supplied mullion heating systems throughout the northeast.

THERMOSTATS
Industrial and commercial piping, tanks, floor warming systems and temperature maintenance systems may require a simple control mechanism to energize the heating system when the temperature falls below set point. Thermostats are the most economical means of on/off control available. Thermostats are available with fixed or adjustable set points, line or ambient sensing, in hazardous or non-hazardous configurations. ThermatraceUSA will assist you with the proper selection of thermostat based on your design criteria.
